Bofur - Posetively the sweetest dwarf of them all.
(Played by James Nesbitt.)


So, I did it guys! I managed to draw something else than elves :giggle: And I must say...
These roughed dwarves with all their nifty accessories, beards and charisma, bring a lot to the drawing table!

I drew him in a larger scale than the first ones in this new series of mine,(I neeeed to get those fine lines and eyelashes down, tee hee!),
and I'll continue working in this scale as I dig through Tolkien's creatures :)

I really enjoyed drawing this lad, and I'm excited to throw myself over yet another hairy dwarf! :lol:
And who might that be, I wonder...?


It's all pencil work and I added a digital filter to the finished product.

*Size: A4
*7-ish hours.
*Mechanical pencil 0.7
*Pencil 4B, 4B, B8.
* Smudge stick thingy

this is so awesome!!! what kind of paper is it on? i love the old-style it has :)
and the smudge stick thingy i think you're talking about is called a tortillion. :P the name always makes me think of tortilla chips.. lol

I simply loved Bofur in the movie and you have done him quite a bit of justice. Congratulations, your art style in beautiful and the smile fits him perfectly. This is just a beautiful piece of art.
