WIP Dragon head - sculpt by TatharielCreations WIP Dragon head - sculpt by TatharielCreations
This little dragon was created after watching way too many fantasy movies, waaay too little sleep and far too much daydreaming! :giggle:

It started out as a doodle-lump on my table, but after a bit of poking and messing around, it started to turn into a dragon, so I went with the flow!

Size:
Length - 3.3 inch (8.5 cm)
Width - 1.4 inch (3.5 cm)

I find that the details in the sculpting itself shows better on this unpainted version.
I mixed two types of clay, and the color kinda resembles to jade I think!

You can view the finished result here: [link]

Hope you like it! :aww:

That's another great sculpture you made, I love the detail and all the crevices of that dragon head! You'd make a great design of the Smaug dragon in the Hobbit!

Thanks! ^^
Sure thing! I mixed two types of clay. Really I never intended the lump to become a sculpt, but as I fiddled with it, it started to take shape!
The green color is premixed Fimo clay (yellow and blue tones). The other one was a translucent type. I got this from China, and sadly I don`t know the brand. It`s slightly more grainy/sticky. Kinda resembles to the texture of prosculpt :) Hope that helped! :)

Oh it is! It`s kinda plasticy, and there are so many different things you can do with it. ^^
Thanks! I never intended it to turn out like that, and irl it really reminded me a lot of jade. I should try and make another lump of that mix :)

You`re welcome!
